- What order should I read the Fated, Cursed, and Claimed series in?
- There are five books. Read them in this order: A War of Hearts and Fate (Kate and Kane), A Cage of Blood and Light (Maddy and Axton), A Reign of Shadow and Frost (Ashleigh and Caleb), A Curse of Ink and Embers (Storm and Soren), and A Claim of Salt and Scars (Jagger and Trez), a novella that closes the series. Each book follows a different couple and ends in its own happily ever after, but the world and the supporting cast carry forward, so publication order gives you the richest experience.
- When does A Reign of Shadow and Frost come out?
- Book three, A Reign of Shadow and Frost, releases in November 2026. Books four and five do not have announced dates yet.
- How many books are in the series?
- Five. The fifth, A Claim of Salt and Scars, is a novella and the finale.
- Is any book in the series male/male?
- Yes. Book five, A Claim of Salt and Scars, is a male/male novella between Jagger and Trez, both of whom you meet earlier in the series.
- Can I read A Cage of Blood and Light without reading book one?
- Yes. It stands alone. Maddy appears as a side character in book one and Axton turns up at the very end, so reading in order adds payoff, but it isn't required.
- Does every book end in a happily ever after?
- Yes. Every couple gets their HEA, and there is no cliffhanger on the romance.
- Is A War of Hearts and Fate a rejected mate romance?
- Yes. Kane claims Kate under a blood moon, casts her out the next morning believing she's his enemy's daughter, and spends the rest of the book earning his way back. If you read for the grovel, this is the one.
- Are these dual POV?
- Yes, all of them, in first person present tense, alternating between the two leads.
- How spicy are they?
- Books one and three are a 4 out of 5, and book two is a 5 out of 5. All of them are explicit and open door. Book two is the darkest and most graphic.
